November News
Our very dear Family and Friends,
We all send much warmth and love as we write the morning
after Election Day in the United States. We have been
concentrating the light of the Star over the whole
proceedings and now the choice is made and there is set
before the nation an opportunity to move forward. It will
not be an easy task for any one soul to undertake! In
whatever nation we may live, each of us may do our part by
supporting the individuals who have been entrusted to lead.
There is a strong sense of movement forward towards the
fulfillment of the mission of the United States as given by
White Eagle so many years ago - that of Brotherhood.
Of particular interest in thinking nationally as well as
globally, Simon Bentley will be arriving soon to give his
retreat “Astrology of Nations” beginning November 13th
through the 18th. For those of us who are not able to
attend the retreat Simon will be giving a fascinating talk
on Sunday November 16th, entitled “Presidentially Speaking…
a look at the horoscope of the next President of the United
States and its implications for the country and the world.”
Lunch will be served in the Retreat House for those
attending, prior to the talk. The cost is $35.00 - $50.00
for couples. All are very welcome and we hope to have this
recorded.
We are in the midst of the most ideal time here in Texas
with wonderfully cool evenings and warm sunny days. The
land has been newly mown and we anticipate the early spring
wildflowers not too many months away.
The Center here has adopted a Christmas Family as in the
past from the Tri-County Mental Health and Retardation
Organization. We will be collecting gifts for the seven
member family after Thanksgiving, placing the gifts under
the tree in the Temple. If you would like any information
and would like to join in, please call Dotty Hawkes at the
office.
We know our Canadian family celebrated their Thanksgiving
on October 13th and we in the United States will be
celebrating ours on November 27th… We all have much for
which to be thankful - interwoven with all the challenges!

scattered all over the Americas – and our world-wide
family.

Every particular group or individual has its own opinion,
and all these different opinions when vehemently expressed,
can cause chaos and conflict in the thought world. Brethren
of the light should be above these earthly opinions and
just radiate love to God and to all life, being very still
and calm within, living only to be brotherly to all. Just
be kind that is all: be kind and gentle and loving. You
will not help by entering into conflict. We have said
always work for harmony within yourself and for harmony in
the world and you will be doing far more good than by
taking any particular side. We advise you to be above
conflict and to recognize that all peoples are at different
stages of evolution, different stages of understanding of
life. If you will remember this it will bring deep love and
compassion and tolerance to your heart.
Think for a moment of the great masters of all time. Think
of the master mind, the mind of mastership, and then think
of the love and gentleness and tolerance of a master. All
masters, these great souls who have attained to mastership
over mind and feeling and body, are full of love. They do
not condemn, they know the law, and they know that the law
of cause and effect is bound to work through all life. The
great secret is to be careful of causes, be careful of the
seeds you sow, because the seeds are the cause of the
harvest. If you sow a seed of discord and disharmony, you
are bound to reap what you have sown. It is not an easy
philosophy for you whilst living in the flesh, but have you
ever thought of the blessings which have come to you and
the opportunities which have been given to you in this
present incarnation? You have been given knowledge, and the
wisdom and love within you is beginning to develop. What a
wonderful opportunity has been laid before you! Think of
what you can give, what you are able to contribute to the
